Commercial Drivers Licensing Course
(Class A)
Full Time 120 Hours
Subjects covered: General theory on the tractor trailer including proper maintenance, pretrip inspections, daily driver logs, safety, map reading, alley docking, measured right hand turns, parallel parking, serpentine and basic skills of maneuvering a tractor trailer (backing, cornering, control and highway driving).
There are various techniques to backing a tractor trailer that we generally cover including straight line backing, sight side backing and blind side backing. 85% of this course is performed behind the wheel.
This course also provides the students with job placement assistance.
Course schedule:This class begins every Monday for three weeks.
The hours are as follows: Monday through Friday from 8:00 to 5:00
Extra practice time Monday through Friday after receiving certificate of completion from 12:00 to 1:00
NOTE*Due to the scheduling of the State Driving Test, the extra practice time may be increased for your convenience.

One extra road test is also include in this pricing should the student fail the first attempt. Financial assistance available to those who qualify through job service agencies.
